Originally from King, North Carolina (a small town in the Piedmont Triad), I worked in retail for 28 years. During that time, my husband, Thomas, and I spent many weekends and most of our summer vacations at Holden Beach, North Carolina. We fell in love with the casual, easy going life-style of the area.  In 1998, we moved to the Holden Beach area.

Around that time, I decided to embark on a new career combining the three things I really enjoyed doing. Because I have always loved houses, working with people and selling, I chose to become a REALTOR^®. I received my brokers license in 2002 and worked on the island for three years. In 2005, I joined the Rampage Realty team.
